Roberta Adkisson died Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado.

Roberta "Bobbie" Mae Adkisson was born in Ordway, Colorado to Delmar and Helen (Lutes) Peterson on December 5, 1938.

She Grew up in Ordway and then moved to Johnstown where she graduated high school.

On December 23, 1956, she married Vernon Adkisson in Johnstown the couple was married 50 years prior to Vernon's death on April 18, 2007.
Mrs. Adkisson was a secretary for Roosevelt High School for 24 years, in Johnstown until she retired in 2001. She was also a RE-5J School Board Member, and a strong supporter of the Johnstown School District. Mrs. Adkisson enjoyed reading, gardening cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She attended the United Methodist Church in Johnstown.

Survivors: A son Randy J Adkisson and wife Dana of Johnstown, a daughter Terri Wailes of Johnstown, three grandchildren Madison Wailes, Brody and Rylee Ann Adkisson all of Johnstown. She is also survived by a sister Lorraine Harris of Idaho.

Preceded in death by: Her parents and her Husband Vernon Adkisson.

Memorial Service: 11 a.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church in Johnstown.

Inurnment: Private family services will be held at the Johnstown Cemetery.
