Son of William Young and Adeline (?) Young.
Married Clarinda 'Elizabeth' McGinnis 20/Mar/1881 at Oregon County, MO.

George Lepoleon Young was born in Laclede Co., Mo. on Oct 16, 1858 and passed away Dec. 14, 1937 at his home of a paralytic stroke.
He was a pioneer citizen of Myrtle, Mo. Mr. Young was one of the highly respected citizens of the county and was well known in this immediate vicinity.
He was married to Elizabeth McGinnis Mar. 20, 1881 and to this union four children were born, three having preceded him in death; a son and daughter dying in infancy, and one son Jim Young killed in an accident.
He was converted about 30 years ago and lived a christian life to the end.
He has lived on the same farm for 56 years and will be greatly missed by all who knew him, for to know him was to love and respect him.
He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Nan (Mrs. Levi) Goins, of Myrtle, Mo., six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery Dec. 15th.
