Ruby Swisher

Ruby Belle Swisher, 78, of 545 Louisiana Ave., Chester, died today at 12:20 a.m. at home following a long illness. Mrs. Swisher was born July 19, 1898, in Hookstown, a daughter of Robert A. Allison and Vene White Allison. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church, Chester. In addition to her husband, Cecil R. Swisher at home, survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Martha) Rice and Mrs. Charles (Wilma) Elliot, both of Chester; three sisters, Mrs. Maude Campbell and Mrs. Pearl Hubbard, both of Chester and Mrs. Virginia Allison of Hialeah, Fla.; seven brothers, Claud Allison, James Allison and Earl Allison, all of Chester; Dwight Allison of Akron, Wilbur Allison and Arthur Allison, both of Beaver, and Clair Allison of Georgetown. Services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. from the Arner Funeral Chapel, Chester, by the Rev. Roy Perkins and Rev. Arch McGaffic. Burial will be in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Hookstown. Friends may call at the chapel Friday afternoon and night where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
