SULPHUR -- Services for Ruby Addalee Babb, 86, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Revs. Don Payne and Edward Rowls officiating. Interment will follow at Mill Creek Cemetery under the direction of Clagg Funeral Home.
Mrs. Babb died Feb. 19, 1998, in Norman. She was born July 8, 1911, at Mill Creek, to Jess D. and Polly T. I. Burke Miller.
She married Lonnie G. Babb Dec. 22, 1929, at Gracemont, and was a former cook for Callaway Nursing Home and Sulphur Head Start where she was later a teachers aide. She was a foster grandmother.
Survivors include a daughter, Weela Pittman, Richardson, Texas; a son, Jack, Sulphur; two sisters, Katie Burns, Sulphur, and Janie Hunt, Yukon; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 7, 1985; a son, L.G.; two brothers, Jake and Johnny Miller; and two sisters, Edith Howard and Christall Deshazo.
Bearers will be Kevin Burns, John Payne, Clendon Babb, Darrell Pittman, Brett, Keith and Josh Billings. Honorary bearers are Chase Blankenship, Zachary and Derek Pittman, Cameron, Carter and Randy Babb.
Memorials may be made to the Pentecostal Holiness Church or Muscular Dystrophy Association.
