Kathryn Pellegrino
WALTHAM - Kathryn (Bishop) Pellegrino, 96, of Waltham died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007, at Epoch Senior Healthcare Center in Weston.
She was the wife of the late John J. Pellegrino.
Born in Mapleton, New Brunswick, daughter of the late Whitfield and Nettie (Cain) Bishop, she had lived in Waltham for many years.
She was an active member of the Beth Eden Baptist Church Worker's Federation as well as the Order of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Pellegrino enjoyed cooking and gardening.
She leaves her daughter, Nancy A. Richardson and her husband, David, of Waltham, and her son, Arthur W. Pellegrino and his wife, Mary, of Marlborough; her siblings, Kenneth Bishop, Frances Dunham Gillies, Bertram Bishop, and Margaret Balzer, all of New Brunswick; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late E. Jay Bishop, Lillian Ogiluie Hill, Maurice L. Bishop, Sadie Pollock Sprague, Rupert Bishop, and Eleanor G. Lewis.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, Dec. 8, at 10:30 a.m., at Beth Eden Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Mount Feake Cemtery, Waltham.
Visiting hours will be held Friday, Dec. 7, from 4 to 7 p.m., at The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main St. (Rte. 20), Waltham.
Memorial donations may be made to the Beth Eden Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 84 Maple St., Waltham, MA 02453.
