Charles Campbell
Charles D. Campbell, 71, of 912 Neptune Ave., Chester, a retired potter, died Wednesday at St. Francis Hospital, Pittsburgh, after a brief illness. He was born in Beaver County July 6, 1902, a son of William E. and Ila Campbell. He had been employed at the Taylor Smith & Taylor co., retiring in 1967. He was an honorary member of the IBPAW. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Maude Allison Campbell, at home; three daughters, Mrs. James (Ruth) Elliott of Hot Springs, Ark., and Mrs. Vern (Ada) Jones and Mrs. James (Mary) Lyons of Chester; a son, William Campbell of Davenport, Iowa; a brother, Ollie Campbell of Florida, nine grandchildren and 12 great - grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester by the Rev. Arch McGaffick of the Hookstown Free Methodist Church. Burial will be in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Hookstown. Friends may call at the chapel Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
