Barbara Ann "Peaches" Williams was the daughter of Cecil Williams and his wife, Ethel. She was born in what was then Norfolk County, Virginia (now city of Chesapeake, Virginia). She was married to Thomas Robert "Tom" Saunders in about 1945.

Barbara Ann Williams Saunders, 73, of Bracey, Va., died Dec. 14, 2002. Born in South Norfolk Nov. 19, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Ethel Williams. Mrs. Saunders was a member of Haygood United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Thomas Robert Saunders Sr.; son, Thomas R. Saunders Jr., both of Bracey; daughter, Deborah Jean Allen of Plant City, Fla.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Bruce Whitehurst Cemetery with Pastor T.E. Thieman officiating. Arrangements by Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. "
