Aaron R. Burr
Aaron R. Burr, 59, 830 S. Seventh St., died Thursday, (Dec. 13, 1984) at the Arkansas City Memorial Hospital. He was born Oct. 6, 1925 in Arkansas City, the son of Rufus Burr and Teresa Jarboe Burr.

He grew up and attended schools in Arkansas City.

On May 16, 1978, he married Marjorie Louise Duncan in Arkansas City. He was a finish painter for many years and was a truck driver for the Salvation Army and helped in the Thrift Store.

Survivors incude his wife, Marjorie, of the home, ten children, two brothers, Jack Burr, Geuda Springs, and Clarence Burr of Maryland; four sisters, Wilma Cunningham and Mary Wolfe, both of Arkansas City, Alice Lowery of Haysville, Ruth Sumpton, Wichita.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Parker cemetery with Captain Homer Fuqua officiating.

Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
