Rockingham, or "Rocky" was my wife Patsy's dog. WE all loved him very much. A hound dog, he loved to peek through our neighbor's gate and begin houling. He acted as if he were a puppy even at his age, running up and down the hall and all over. He loved all of his squeeky toys and his special treats. Rocky thought he was human, and sure acted like it. At all meals he joined the family. His buddy a cockateel bird named Peepers misses him very much. Rocky loved all his pals at the dog park. He was also a protector, if he sensed you were afraid about something, he would let you know, "everything is going to be alright"...What character. He is with his beloved Patsy in Heaven now. They missed each other. Often times Rocky would sit and stare at her Picture amongst lots of other things. Rocky had arthritis in his hips and he jumped one day and hurt himself so bad that it was irrepairable. Although he is missed knowing that he is with Pat, makes us happy.
