Funeral for Perry Deering, 43, of Chico was Nov. 6 in Bridgeport. The Rev. Luke Oyler officiated. Burial followed at Jim Ned Cemetery.
Deering died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2007, in Chico.
Born March 21, 1964, in Bridgeport to Clyde and Mary Maddux Deering, he was a truck driver.
He is survived by a son, Matthew Deering of Bridgeport; his mother, Mary Price, four brothers, Clyde Deering and John Deering, both of Chico, and Gary Deering and Robert Deering, both of Bridgeport; four sisters, Elaine Vislosky and Elizabeth Long, both of Chico, Stella Davidson of Springtown and Sherrie Skelton of Bridgeport; two stepbrothers, Danny Price of Chico and George Price of Wyoming; a stepsister, Annette Price of Carrollton; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Blake Long, Tim McIlveene, Larry Kittrel, Jason Bruce, Jimmy Vislosky and Daniel Davidson. Honorary pallbearers were Justin Skelton, David Deering and Ricky Walton.
