Deceased Name: JAMIE F. BERNIER, 25
MILLBURY - Jamie F. Bernier, 25, of 118 Elm St., a motorcycle salesman, died yesterday in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, after a motorcycle he was driving hit a tree early yesterday morning in Sutton.
He leaves his parents, Roger M. and Deborah A. (Powers) Bernier; a brother Kurt A. Bernier; his maternal grandmother, Anna M. (Constantino) Powers, all of Millbury; uncles and aunts. He was born in Worcester and lived here most of his life. He graduated from Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School, Upton, in 1991. He served in the Marine Corps from 1992 to 1996, where he received several commendations. He received several awards as a kick boxer while in the Marine Corps in California. He was in the Marine Corps inactive reserves.
Mr. Bernier was a sales representative for Motor Sports International, a motorcycle business in Auburn, since 1997. He was a member of St. Brigid's Church.
The funeral will be held Wednesday from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid's Church, 59 Main St. Burial will be in Central Cemetery. Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
