HUGH LEROY HOLT
Hugh Leroy Holt, former resident of Brockway, died in a Tacoma, Washington Hospital on September 1, 1971 after a lengthy illness. He has resided in Milton, Washington since 1914; his present address was 305 13th Avenue, Milton, Washington.
Funerla services were conducted Saturday, September 4, from St. Martin of Tours Parish of Fife, Washington. Interment was in a Tacoma, Washington Cemetery.
Mr. Holt, 84, was born January 6, 1887 in Brockway the son of Matthew and Sophia Holt. He was married in 1910 to the former Sarah Margaret Calhoun of Beechwoods who predeceased him on September 4, 1952. He later married Gisella Holmquist who survives. Mr. Holt was a Navy veteran, retired meat cutter and part time farmer. He was a member of the Senior Citizens Club.
The deceased is survived by his three sons, Ray, Corvallis, Oreg.; Edwin, Vancouver, Wash.; Dean, Spokane, Wash. Three sisters, Mrs. Belva Morey, St. Charles, Mo.; Mrs. Myrtle Siar, Canonsburg, Pa.; and Mrs. Adella Beacham, Chautauqua, N. Y. Two brothers, John, McMurray, Pa., and Herbert, Brockway R. D. 1. Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren.
