COOKEVILLE -- Funeral services for Lucille Mary Bennett, 79, of Cookeville, will be held at 1 p.m. on Sun., Jan. 9, from the chapel of Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Saylors Cemetery in White County.
The family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m. on Sat., Jan. 8, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bennett died on Thurs., Jan. 6, 2000, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
She was born on Dec. 5, 1920, in Pocahantas County, W.Va. to the late Wesley Moses and Lucy Alice Smith Underwood. Mrs. Bennett was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Smyrna.
Her family includes a son, Thomas Bennett of Mt. Juliet; two daughters, Janice Erickson of Benton, Ky., and Patty Norcia of Owensboro, Ky.; a sister, Ida Phillips of Cookeville; 27 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Coye Ernest Bennett.
Bro. Ray Vick will officiate at the services.
