Herbert Battin died at home in Tracy, Minnesota, Monday evening at the age of eighty two years. The remains were taken to Ogden and the funeral held Thursday morning at 10:30 o'clock from the Battin chapel east of that city. Interment took place in the Quincy cemetery. The deceased came to Boone County in 1856 but recently has resided in Minnesota.
