Faye Bibler

The service for Faye Solomon Bibler, 73, East Lawn Manor, will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Boyd Funeral Home with the Rev. Edward Colgrove officiating. Burial will follow in La Rue Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. today. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Mrs. Bibler died Monday afternoon at Marion General Hospital.

She was born June 12, 1918, in Ironton, a daughter of George C. and Elizabeth Miller Wilson.

Residing in Marion most of her life, Mrs. Bibler had at one time been manager of the former Old Holly Shop and Stone's Grill.

Her first husband, William Solomon Sr., whom she married July 1, 1937, died here June 16, 1962. She then married Adrian W. Bibler March 11, 1967, and he died July 21, 1986. Surviving are a son, Charles Solomon, Marion; three daughters, Sally Townsend, Eunice Collins and Janet Shaw, Marion; a stepson, Mike Bibler, Oscoda, Mich.; a stepdaughter, Brenda Byrd, Marion; three sisters, Ruth Wilkie, Columbus, Margaret Killen, Ironton, and Jeanette Justice, Portsmouth; 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Two brothers and three sisters are deceased.
