Golda Hood, 64, of Heavener, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2003, at Fort Smith, Ark. She was a lifelong resident of Heavener, a member of the First Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for the Love Sunday School class and was a member of the Womens Missionary Union with the church.

Survivors include her husband Bill; one daughter, Karla Jurrens of Austin, Texas; one son, Brian of Heavener; two sisters, Wanda Livesay of Heavener and Judy Johnson of Edmond; one brother, Clinton "Bo" Battenfield of Heavener; and three grandchildren, Melissa and Phillip Jurrens and Amber Hood.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 9 at First Baptist Church in Heavener. Burial will follow in Zoe Cemetery at Hodgen under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home of Heavener.
