"Mrs. J.L. Amalong Dies.
Mrs. J.L. Amalong, nearly seventy years of age, and a resident of this community since she was fourteen, died in Douglas on Christmas day from a complication of diseases. She had been taken to Doouglas the previous day for medical treatment.
Mrs. Amalong is survived by five sons, Jesse, Harve, Elmer, Walter and George Amalong, and three daughters Mrs. McKinney of Tucson, Gertie Hunt of Florence and Cora Ingle of Miami, all of whom are here to attend the funeral which will take place this morning at 11 o'clock at the home ranch in Pinery canyon and will be conducted by the legion Auxiliary of which Mrs. Amalong was a gold star member."
