Mr. William Henry Cliett, 91, of 7 miles Wrightsboro Road, entered into rest at 9:25 p.m. Thursday, July 10, 1947, at an Augusta, Georgia hospital after a short illness. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at Marvin Methodist Church with the Rev. C.H. Camp and the Rev. Leroy Harris officiating. Interment will be in the Pierce Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Hertha Cliett, Jess Cliett, Leonard F. Cliett, Percy L. Cliett, William F. Cliett and William D. Cliett, all grandsons of Mr. Cliett. He was a native of Columbia County but had been a resident of Richmond County for the past eight years. He was a member of Marvin Methodist Church. Survivors include his son, Thomas D. Cliett of Richmond County; six grandsons; Hertha Cliett, Jess Cliett, Leonard F. Cliett, Percy L. Cliett, William F. Cliett and William D. Cliett; four granddaughters, Mrs. E.D. Inglett, Mrs. Hugh Moates, Mrs. Wilkie Justice and Mrs. Mildred Moates, and 22 great grandchildren. Elliott Sons.
