Mrs. M. D. Box passed away on October 5th, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. W. Edwards, in Sunflower.
The funeral services were conducted at Bethlehem church on Thursday, October 6th, with the Reverend J. O. Dowdle, pastor of the Methodist church of Sunflower, officiating, with the Reverend S. M. Hemphill, of Winona, assisting.
Mrs. Box, who was 67 years of age at the time of her death, is survived by her husband, M. D. Box, of Greenwood; sons Don of Moorhead, Redburn of Greenwood, and one daughter, Mrs. Edwards.
She is also survived by three sisters, Mrs. Belle Love of Kilmichael, and the Misses Mattie and Bettie Austin of Winona, and two brothers, Bud and Henry Austin of Winona. Mrs. Ernest Patterson of Blaine and Mrs. George Holmes of Winona are nieces who survive Mrs. Box.
