Mr. John Dorsey Luke, 30, of 1481 Gwinnett Street, entered into rest at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, 1908, at the City Hospital, Augusta, Georgia. Mr. Luke was a merchant, and was highly regarded in Augusta. He is survived by his wife; four children; five brothers; two sisters, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Luke, of Bel-Air, Georgia. The funeral will be Thursday morning at 11 o'clock at the Rock Church, seven miles up the Wrightsboro Road, Rev. D. W. Marks will conduct the services. It is expected that a large number will attend the obsequies.
