Elizabeth Kay White (Betty), was born October 2, 1943, in Endicott, New York to Cecil Jerry and Katherine Elizabeth White and a brother Louis (Louie). She lived in New York for several years then at a young age the family moved to Idaho and settled in the town of Weiser. Betty went to school in Weiser.

After graduating she married Walter Lewis Adams in 1964 at the Weiser Christian Church. They moved to Grangeville, Idaho, where they lived for several years. They were blessed with a son, Wade Lee Adams. They later moved to Montana and to Weiser, Idaho where they had a farm. Betty loved living on the farm and raising a few chickens and fixing up her home.

Betty worked for Champion and Tamarack manufactured homes in Weiser driving pilot cars.

Betty was a member of the Ladies Elks Lodge No. 1683.

Betty passed away on June 1, 1974, as the result of a car accident near their farm in Weiser.

Several years after her death Betty was blessed with three granddaughters, Jesse, Kadie, and Brandy, and a grandson Alekzander.

Betty was survived by her husband Walter Adams and son Wade Adams. Father and mother Jerry and Katherine White, brother Louie and wife Sharon White. Mother-in-law Cordilia Adams. All of Weiser, Idaho. Brother-in-law Glenn and wife Rowena of Harpster, Idaho. Sister-in-laws Minnie and husband Ted Ledington Council, Idaho. Dorthey and James Boykin of Maryland. Merlene Fowler Weiser, Idaho. Mary and Les Webster, Ontario, OR. Betty and Leroy Widner Weiser, Idaho. Ruth and George Cavazos Weiser, Idaho. Numerous nephews and nieces and friends.

Funeral services were held at Northam-Jones Funeral Chapel on June 4, 1974, at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Joseph Wagnon delivered the service. Lila Harper performed the music. Burial at Hillcrest Cemetery Weiser, Idaho.
