R. F. "Red" Button, 74, of 601 Rose Avenue, died Thursday at Westgate Hospital.
Born October 2, 1908, in Denton County, he married Clara Waller, in 1939. She died in 1978.
A member of the victory Baptist Church, he had worked for the City of Denton, Denton Independent School District and Borden Dairies.
Service will be a 11 am, Saturday at Jack Schmitz & Son Funeral Chapel with the Revs. Grover Miller and Buddy Owens, officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
Survivors incluude two sons, Larry Button of Denton and Johnny Ray Button of san Antonio; a daughter, Betty Heatly of Carrollton, and a granddaughter, Dawn Heatly of Garland.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 tonight for visitation.
