SPRINGFIELD - Teresa Lee Johnson, 44, a resident of Springfield for most of her life, died at 5:43 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007, at Heritage Manor.
She was born April 13, 1963, in Taylorville, the daughter of Roy Douglas and Rita Mae Taylor Johnson. Her parents preceded her in death.
Miss Johnson was a waitress at Gabatoni's Restaurant. She was a member of iWorship Center. She loved and collected angels, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are a son, Andreas John Bukis of Springfield; two grandchildren, Andreas Adrian Dailey and Nevaeh Mercedes Reese; two sisters, Alexa Johnson of Paragould, Ark., and Melissa Sue Little of Springfield; brother, Steve Johnson of Springfield; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will host a memorial service at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, at the iWorship Center, 3200 Shaler Road, with Pastor Cheryl Hansen officiating. Private burial will be held in Anderson Cemetery in Palmer.
