OBITUARY
The remains of Archie Dupy, who was killed in the Wellington avalanche, near Seattle, Washington, the first day of March, reached here last Friday and the funeral services were held at the Christian church, conducted by Rev Metier of the Methodist church, and the remains were laid at rest in the cemetery north of town.
Archie Dupy was born in Sedgwick county, Kansas, October 5, 1887, and came with his parents to Oklahoma in 1900. In 1907, he went to Seattle, Washington, and served for a while as conductor on an electric car. At the time of his death he was a brakeman on a passenger train on the Great Northern Railroad. He was well known to nearly everyone here, all of whom were surprised and grieved to learn of bis sudden death. There are left besides the parents, three brothers and one sister, to whom we extend our sincere sympathy.--Waynoka Tribune.i
