Catherine Elizabeth Jansen, 81, formerly of 4210 Trio Ave., died Friday at Jewish Hospital.
She was the former Catherine Vogel and a retired beautician.
Survivors: a daughter, Claudia J. Pounds; two sons, William R. Jansen of Fairdale and James R. Jansen of Crestwood; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday, St. Rita Catholic Church, 8709 Preston Highway, with entombment in Resthaven Mausoleum. Visitation at Arch L. Heady Okolona Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Highway, from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday.

They were married for 39 years and separated only by his death in 1971. She retired from The Evelyn Beauty Shoppe in downtown Louisville. She was a wonderful wife and devoted mother and grandmother.
