Annie Martin Simmons, 54, of Bristol Borough, died suddenly Wednesday at home.

Born in Tuskegee, Alabama to William and Hannah Thomas Webb, she lived in Trevose until 1973 when she moved to Bristol Borough. She was active with the Salvation Army and an employee of Coronet Cleaners in Morrisville.

She was predeceased by two children: Dennis and Shirley [Sista] Martin.

Surviving are her eight sons, Frederick D. Martin, Jr of Trevose, Leon Martin of Willingboro, NJ, Lewis Martin of Bristol Borough, John Simmons, Vincent Simmons, Victor Simmons and Michael Simmons, all at home and Rodney Simmons in Fort Campbell, Ky.; four daughters, Barbara Martin of Bristol, Renee Simmons, Wanda Simmons and Rose Simmons, all at home; her mother Hannah Webb of Levittown; two sisters, Jessie Harris of Trevose and Johnnie Glenn of Cleveland, two brothers, Izear Webb of Trevose and Milton Webb of Levittown and 11 grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her sister, Carrie B. Harris and two brothers, Glister Webb and William Webb, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday at P. Rosamond Gray Funeral Home, 4800 Beaver Dam Road, Bristol Township. The Rev. Joseph Wright will officiate.

Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Willow Grove.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service Monday at the funeral home.
