The son of Ahimaaz and Hannah Marshall-Chambers.
He participated in the War of 1812, in New Orleans. Not knowing the war had ended and won, his fellow soldiers perched themselves along the forts walls. Being above the dense fog, they were able to see the enemy coming, but could not be seen. They began firing and won this battle, all to find out, the war had been declared over, afterwards.
He returned to Kentucky and married Mahitabel Goodin in Hardin Co, Ky. Children from this union were:
