Husband of Martha Jenkins. In 1850, they were living in Wayne Township, Marion County, Indiana. At that time, they had 6 children living with them. The oldest, Mary, was born in Kentucky. The rest were born in Indiana. They were Sarah, Martha, Margaret, Malissa and John.

In the 1860 Census, they were still in Wayne Township. Martha was listed as Patsey. Only 2 daughters were living with them; Margaret & Malissa. Malissa is buried in this cemetery as Melisse Smith, Notley Smith's wife. Notley and Melisse are buried beside her parents.

In 1870, Martha was listed as Patsy and their last name was spelled Jinkins. They had two farm hands living with them named Jackson and Henry Roberts.
