Aleita M. Casler Gedney , 80, of Concord, N.C., died Thursday. Born in Solvay, she lived in Fairmount most of her life before moving in 1992. She graduated from Solvay High School. She was an administrative assistant at Key Bank. She was a member of Fairmount Community Church and Trinity United Church of Christ in Concord. Her husband, Kenneth Sr., died in 1950; a son, Kenneth Jr., died in 1965. Survivors: Her daughter, Nancy Burleson of Albemarle, N.C.; a son, Richard, of Syracuse; three sisters, Elizabeth Vaughn of Fayetteville, N.C., Carol Bennick of East Syracuse and Barbara Richer of Liverpool; two brothers, Irving Casler Jr. of Marcellus and David Casler of Erieville; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Tindall Funeral Home, 1921 W. Genesee St., Syracuse. Burial, White Chapel Memory Gardens. No calling hours.
