Son of Magnus and Bertha (Gearhart) Bottolfsen.
Served WWII in Navy. Was in South Pacific Summer 1943.
was on a ship that was hit by a bomb.

Hugh Bottolfsen, 66 of 413 N Denver Ave Apt 1, Hastings, NE died Sunday in Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital. Services will be Wednesday at 2 pm in Butler-Volland Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Martin B Lingwall officiating. burial will be in Parkview Cemetery with military rites.(Sept 11)
Hugh was employed as a baker at the Hastings Regional Center before retiring. He was a member of First St Pauls Lutheran Church and the Eagles Lodge.
He is survived by 3 daughters, three brothers, and two sisters and 4 grandchildren.
