Mike Duval, owner of the Twin Oak Cheese factory at Nasonville, left Tuesday for Unity to attend the funeral of his uncle, Francis San Toba, one of the earliest settlers of Unity, having lived there close to forty years. The deceased was a brother of Mrs. Charles Duvall, town of McMillan.

Died at his home in Unity, Sunday, January 23, 1916
Mr Francis Toby (Santoba), aged 72 years, 8 months and 5 days.
Mr Toby was born at Quebec, Canada where he was reared and educated. He came to Unity thirty-four years ago and has made his home in that community ever since, remaining on a small farm until last summer, when he retired from active duty. He was married to Miss Clotilda Allain who still survives him. Besides his wife he leaves to mourn his loss one daughter, Mrs Dave Hebert and a sister. The funeral was held from St Mary's Church, in this city last Wednesday, Rev H J Artmann officiating. The remains were laid to rest in Colby Cemetery.
