Marriage:
Pickett-Allen.
John Allen and Miss Bessie Pickett were united in marriage at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Pickett, Wednesday evening, Oct. 15, 1902, before a small company of their closest friends and relatives. The groom is a member of the White Flour Wholesale Co., of this place, and is an enterprising young business man, in every way worthy of the estimable lady he has chosen as a helpmeet through lite. The bride needs no words of praise from us. She is too well known for her lovable ways and devout christian work. Her friends number her acquaintances. After a short trip to Chicago they will be at home to their friends after Nov. 8th.
