Allagra Lucille Simons Farabee was born August 11, 1910 to William Cooper and Carrie Belle (Bays) Simons in Dublin, Texas. The family later moved to Newcastle, Texas where she met and married Gordon C. Farabee on April 29, 1926. He preceded her in death on March 14, 1984. She moved to Graham in 1952 from Newcastle and was a member of Morningside Baptist Church in Graham. Mrs. Farabee was a practical nurse and worked for many years in this capacity. She was an excellent cook and a talented seamstress.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Earl Medford Wyatt.
Survivors include one daughter, Earlene Price and husband Bob of Graham; one son, David Farabee and wife Diane of Henrietta; four grandchildren, Carolyn Cates Hunnewell, Michael Cates, David Farabee, and Daniel Farabee; five step-grandchildren, Rolland Price, Mark Price, Bob Price, Marvin Price, and Joe Price; seven great-grandchildren and thirteen step great-grandchildren.
