My great grandmother, Sarah Lou Bennett was the daughter of Charlie Ammons Bennett and Elmira Blaylock. She married Abner Franklin Bennett and they had eight children. Her middle name is also given as Lucinda, Luna, and Lunie.

Mrs. McClellan Dies At 78

MOORHEAD - Services for Mrs. Sarah L. McClellan, a resident here 20 years, were held at 3 this afternoon at New Hope Methodist Church near Winona. Williams and Lord Funeral Home was in charge.

Mrs. McClellan, who was 78, died Saturday at her home here. She was a Methodist.

She leaves four sons, Homer Bennett of Greenwood; Doffie Lee Bennett of Itta Bena, Cecil Lee Bennett of Moorhead, Guy Harvey Bennett of Isola; a daughter, Mrs. Levy Shepard of Tchula; a brother, Cleveland Bennett of Duck Hill; two sisters, Mrs. Harry Latham of Winona and Mrs. Edward Campbell of Duck Hill.

Pallbearers were grandsons.
