Celebration of Life services will be 10 AM, Saturday, February 16, 2002 at Providence Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steve Best officiating. Burial will follow at Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
Harvey Schoen was born February 20, 1924 in Dessau, Texas to Henry and Helene (Herold) Schoen. Harvey served in the Navy during WW II as a Radar Technician. He was married to Agnes Kramer on November 3, 1945. Harvey was a game warden for thirty-seven years. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of West Taylor, the VFW, and the American Legion. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, metal detecting, and telling stories. Harvey enjoyed playing dominoes and his trips to Las Vegas.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Florence and Bruno Schoen.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-six years, Agnes Schoen of Taylor; one daughter, Susann Cunningham and husband, Bill of Austin and two grandchildren, Shane and Sarah Billeiter of Austin.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Schoen, Bobby Schoen, Johnny Schoen, Tom Murray, Ernie Kuehner, and Robert Kramer III.
