Mrs. Robert Davies
Mrs. Minnie Julia Davies, 74, resident of Bucoda 55 years before moving to Tacoma 16 months ago, died Wednesday night at her home, 1909 South Fawcett avenue, in the latter city. She was a native of Jackson, Minn.
Surviving the pioneer woman are her husband, Robert Davies; 10 children, 25 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. The children are W. G. Davies and Mrs. Margaret Dunn, Centralia; Robert E. Davies, Springfield, O.; Glenn W. Davis and Mrs. Minnie Tompkins, Tacoma; Mrs. Myrtle McAloon and Mrs. Mabelle Roney, Shelton; Mrs. Edna Duke, Olympia, and Mrs. William Gribble, in Honolulu. A brother Wilbur Ashley, resides in Olympia.
The body was brought to the Newell-Hoerling mortuary here, where the funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 p. m. Burial will be in Forest Grove cemetery at Tenino.
