Jerry "Big Jerry" Acree, 54, of Sand Springs died in Tulsa, Saturday, August 17, 2007. He was born in Tulsa on September 30, 1952, the son of Arthur Acree and
Lois Finney Acree. Jerry married Susan Lancaster in Tahlequah, OK on June 5, 1970. He attended schools in California before the family moved to Oklahoma. His
occupation was a painter.
Survivors include his wife Susan of the home, a son Jerry Wayne Acree II, a daughter Michelle Suzanne Acree, four grandchildren, Tyler Wayne Acree, Joshua Wayne Montgomery, Bridget Ann Montgomery, and Jake Compton Montgomery, a sister and brother-in-law Marjorie and Wayne Eckstrom of Sand Springs, three brothers, William Charles Acree of Neosho, MO, Randall and Rosalie Acree of Tulsa, and
Anthony Acree of Sand Springs. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be in the Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service Chapel on Friday, August 24, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Jimmy Ray officiating. Visitation will
be Monday, August 20, 2007 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, August 23, 2007 from 8:00 a.m. to 800 p.m. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in
Mannford under the direction of Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service.
