Actor. Born in Silver Bow County, Montana, he was part Blackfoot Indian and was noted as an excellent stunt rider horseman when started performing in movies in the 1920s. In director John Ford's "The Iron Horse" (1924), he was cast as Wild Bill Hickock and was again cast as Jim Catlin for Ford's "Three Badmen" (1926). His other credits include "The Land of the Lawless" (1927), "Crashing Through" (1928), "Redskin" (1929), "The Lives Of a Bengel Lancer" (1935) and "Gunsmoke Ranch" (1937). He continued doing riding stunts and playing supporting roles when he retired in the mid-1930s, to run a stable in Northridge, California. He died at age 72 in Riverside, California.
