Myrtle Ann Ackiss, 86, of the 5900 block of Fitztown Road, died May 14, 1992, in a hospital.
Mrs. Ackiss was born in Currituck County, N.C. She was the widow of George W. Ackiss.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Sue Ackiss, and a son, Waldon G. Ackiss, both of Virginia Beach; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Ackiss family cemetery, 480 Princess Anne Road, by the Rev. Ralph A. Stalter. Friends may join the family at the residence. Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, is handling arrangements. "
