Betty J. Belsly was born Sept. 4, 1926, in Partridge Township, Woodford County, to Norris E. and Ouida F. Lewellyn Winkler. She married Joseph L. Belsly on Nov. 10, 1946, in Spring Bay. He survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Douglas (Carla) Doty and Mrs. Carl (Valerie) Huser; two sons, Richard Belsly and Kenneth Belsly; 11 grandchildren; her mother: Ouida Hogan and one brother, Larry Winkler.
She was preceded in death by her father and one brother.
She was a member of the Metamora Women's Club and Spring Bay American Legion Auxiliary. A member of Spring Bay United Methodist Church and its United Methodist Women, she served as a Sunday School teacher, pianist, organist and choir member.
