She was born Aug. 20, 1918, in Illinois, the daughter of Charles E. and Bertie Good Durst. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis E. Beynon; her mother and father, and one sister, Marilyn Harris.
She was a longtime member of the Daughters of The American Revolution of Boynton Beach, Fla., and a member of Unity Church of Delray Beach, Fla. She taught organ and accordion in Decatur, and continued to do so in Florida.
Surviving are two sister-in-laws, Rene Durst of Mahomet and Millie Durst of Champaign; one brother-in-law, James Harris of Urbana; one niece; seven nephews; and several great-nieces and -nephews.
