Obituary
Died - On Monday morning, Aug. 16th, of bronchitis, Henrietta, daughter of Mr. Eber Norton, and wife of Mr. Homer Abbott. She was born in Chester, Ohio, Nov. 2nd, 1823, and was married to Mr. H. Abbott May 22nd, 1845.
She was under the doctor's care only about eight days, during which time she bore her affliction patiently until the Master bade her come. She died as all should die, full of hope, immortality and eternal life. Her work was well done - Yes, she was ready to "enter into the joys of her Lord," where she is now before the throne on high in a song of redeeming love, and whose watchful eye has been over us lo, many years. The bereaved ones have the deepest sympathies of their legion of friends in this their sad hour of bereavement, and may each of them be directed by wisdom from on high to pursue such a course as will secure every needful blessing while on earth and a happy home in Heaven.
The remains were deposited in the Argonia cemetery Tuesday afternoon followed to the grave by a large concourse of friends and relatives.
