Mr. Moore, a retired tow boat chief engineer died Monday, February 27, 2006 at his residence. He was a member of the Intercontinental Church of God.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Faye Moore; three daughters, Diane Murphy and husband Eddie, Charlett Davis and husband John, Nikki Jennings and husband Scott all of West Monroe, LA; three sons, Charles Leon Moore II and wife Donna of West Monroe, LA, Eddie Moore and wife Amy of Bastrop, LA, Jimmy Dale Moore and wife April of West Monroe, LA; five sisters, Geneva Isaac of Alsatia, LA, Barbara Purvis of Cave City, AR, Carline Wallace of Vicksburg, MS, Edith Hyde of Clinton, LA, Mildred Rash of Saint Amant, LA; two brothers, John W. Moore of Lake Providence, LA, Joe Moore of Saint Amant, LA; fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Mr. Moore is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Myrtle Moore.
