Belmont - Joanne Bowen Rhyne Brown, 65, of 104 James Drive, Belmont, NC, passed away on Monday, October 02, 2006 at Carolinas Medical Center.
She was a native of Belmont, NC, and was the daughter of the late George Alexander and Katie Featherstone Bowen.
INTERMENT: Private family committal at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia, NC
MEMORIAL SERVICE: 11:00AM, Thursday, October 05, 2006 at First Presbyterian Church
VISITATION: Following Memorial Service at the Church.
Joanne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a friend to all and a caregiver to many. She attended Lenoir Rhyne College, was an active member of First Presbyterian Church of Belmont, where she taught Sunday School. She volunteered at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
