He was a Veteran of the U. S. Army and a Member of the Enid Lake Baptist Church.
Services were held at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, Miss with Rev. Ray Legge officiating.
Burial was in Antioch Cemetery at Toccopola.
Survivors include his Wife, Ruth Jean White of Southaven; 3 Daughters, Peggy White Bollinger and Jackie White Ross, both of Southaven; and Sylvia White Pederson of Olive Branch; a Son, James H. White of Horn Lake; a Sister, Mary Lee White Champlain of Southaven; 2 Brothers, Olen White of Pope; and Leland D. White of Augusta, Georgia; 11 Grandchildren; 16 Step Grandchildren; 17 Great Grandchildren and 13 Step Great Grandchildren.
