BRISTOL - Beatrice Coppi, 99, of Bristol, widow of Saverio Coppi, died Monday, Aug. 13, 2007, at Sheriden Woods. Beatrice was born March 18, 1908, in Bristol, a daughter of the late Anthony and Domenica (Valerio) Carone. A lifelong resident of Bristol, Beatrice attended local schools. Beatrice was employed by the former E. Ingraham Co. in Bristol, until her retirement in 1968. She was a member of St. Anthony Church and the Children of Mary (a precursor of the Rosary Society) at St. Anthony. She was a member of the Bristol Senior Citizens. Her survivors include nieces and nephews Anita Sportelli of Bristol, George and Agnes Carone, Helen Bucior, Norma and Vito Mazzone, Theresa Kowalski and James and Patricia Carone. She was predeceased by three brothers, James, Ralph and Stephen Carone; a sister, Anna Sportelli; and nieces and nephews Anthony, Doris, Ralph, Arthur and Harry Carone. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 8:30 a.m., from O'Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Forestville, to St. Anthony Church for a Mass at 10. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until leaving for the Mass at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the St. Anthony Church and School Develop-ment fund, 111 School St., Bristol, CT 06010.
