This marker was found as a pile of broken pieces (stone & brick) and pieced back together in July 2013. The day we visited the cemetary, the man hired to repair it was there working on it. It no longer has the brick base, it is now stucture more like a table with four legs and an open space beneath. He said that below this marker (underground) was the Winslow family tomb, which held many, many people.

It reads:
The honorable Josiah Winslow, governor of New Plymouth, dyed December 18, 1680, eastatis (age) 52.
Penelope, widow of Governor Winslow dyed December 7, 1703, eastatis 73.
The Honorable Isaac Winslow, Esq. dyed December 14, 1738. aestatis 67.
The Honorable John Winslow, Esq. Obit. April 17, 1774, aestatis Suo 72.
Isaac Winslow M.D. died October 24, 1819. aestatis 80.

From historical data:

The Winslow tomb was probably built by Gov. Josiah Winslow and the remains of the following people have found a resting place within its narrow walls. There are many others whose remains are deposited here, but none, so far as known, nearly related to the family:

* Mrs. Sarah L. (Susanna) wife of Gov. Edward Winslow, who died 1680, aged 51 years.
*Gov. Josiah Winslow, born 1629, died Dec 18, 1680.
* Penelope Pelham, wife of Josiah, died Dec. 7, 1703, aged 73 years.
* Elizabeth Pelham, maiden sister of the above.
* The Hon. Isaac Winslow, son of Josiah, born at Marshfield 1670, died Dec. 14, 1738.
* Gen. John Winslow, son if Isaac, was born at Marshfield May 27, 1702, died at Hingham, April 17, 1774.
* Mary Little, wife of John, also a second wife by the name of Barker previous to marriage.
* Dr. Isaac Winslow, son of Gen. John born at Marshfield April 27, 1738, died at Marshfield Oct. 24, 1819.
* Elizabeth Stockbridge, wife of Isaac born at Scituate 1738, died at Marshfield, Nov 5, 1801.
* Mercy Stockbridge, died about 1820, maiden sister of the above.
* Isaac, infant son of Dr. Isaac Winslow, died previous to his father.
* Capt. Thomas Dingley, son-in-law of Dr. Isaac Winslow and second husband of Ruth Stockbridge, died about 1827.

Then followed a long list of grandchildren buried in the Winslow tomb. The paper then stated, "Gov. Edward Winslow, son of Edward Winslow of Droitville, Worcestershire County, England was born Oct 1, 1595 and died at sea near the West Indies."
