Linda J. Hockensmith,61. entered into God's eternal care Monday August 6, 2007, at the York Hospital.
Born October 5, 1945, in Queens N.Y., she was the daughter of Doris (Franke) Kinzey of Westbury, N.Y., and the late Gordon Kinzey.
She was employed by Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in Harrisburg.
Lindaann is survived by her loving husband, Anthony Lardarello Sr. of Tampa Fla.' two sons, Tony Lardarello Jr. and his wife, Joann of Dover, and Steven Lardarello and his wife Tonya of McSherrystown; a sister Claudia Janusykiewicz, and four grandchildren, Alec, Zachary, Mikaela and Luke Lardarello. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Steven Lardarello Jr.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Murphy Funeral Home 501 Ridge Ave, McSherrystown, with the Rev. Micheal Smith officiating Burial will be in Annunciation Cemetery, McSherrystown.

Sons remember their mother as a fighter
Lindaann Hockensmith,61, of Penn Twp., died in a crash Monday morning.
When she was 30, doctors gave Lindaann J. Hockensmith only six months to live following a diagnosis of ovarian cancer.
"She beat it", said her son Tony Landarello.
About five years ago, doctors toldockensmith the cancer had returned.
Again "She beat it", That's because his mother was a survivor who had been through various hardships and taught her sons never to give up, said Lardarello,43, of Dover.
But Hockensmith, who lived in Penn Township for the past 15 years, has little chance to fight when the trailer of a construction truck crossed into her lane of traffic Monday and collied with her 2004 Suzuki Forenza.
Hockensmith ,61, of Fair Avenue, was pronounced dead at York Hospital about a n hour after the crash, which occurred at 5:45 a.m. on Route 194 in Washington Township, York County.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Murphy Funeral Home, McSherrystown.
The crash remains under investigation.
Hockensmith was die to retire in January from her job as a clerk for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in Harrisburg, where she had worked about 18 years said her son Steve, 40, of McSherrystown.
"she was a wonderful mom" he said "she always took care of my brother and I".
Hockensmith had maintained an ongoing friendship with ex-husband Anthony Lardarello, the father of her sons, Steve Lardarello said.
She was also an exceptional grandmother to her four grandchildren, he said.
"She would do anything for her grandchildren, "Steve Lardarello said. "she didn't have much, nut she always gave."
Tony Lardarell said he stayed in touch with mother through e-mail nearly every day, and they always knew what was going on in each other's lives.
As a mother, Hockensmith taught her sons to overcome challenges, he said.
"she was dealt a very difficult life," Tony Lardarello said. "On top of that, she had two teenage sons."
But no matter what happened, his mother remained strong, he said.
"you never give up," he said. "that was her lesson to us."
