Pauline was born in Jackson, Kansas, to Samuel Alonzo Beers and Susan Lutherman/Luterman. They moved into the Colorado Springs area before 1896. One of Pauline's sisters was Sarah Elizabeth Beers who married Richard Allyan Bayly. One of Sarah's and Richard Allyan's children was Hazel Bayly ... who later became my husband's grandmother. Hazel is buried at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, CA. Sarah, Hazel's mother, is buried in Colorado Springs, CO, and Richard Allyan is buried in the G.A.R. Cemetery in Maimi, Ottawa Co., Oklahoma.
