Mr. W. H. Regan, a lifelong resident of this county was found dead in bed at his home about two miles south of this city, last Friday morning at about ten o'clock. Mr. Regan had been complaining for several days, and feeling bad Friday morning he retired to his room to rest awhile. Remaining in his room for an unusual length of time members of the family became worried over his absence and went to his room when it was discovered he was dead. An attack of heart failure is supposed to be the cause of Mr. Regan's death.

The funeral services took place Saturday morning at the residence, at 10 o'clock, after which the remains were accompanied to the local cemetery for interment, by a large host of the friends of the family.

The deceased is survived by his wife and six children, three daughters and three sons, to all of whom this paper joins their friends in the extension of sympathy.
